The product came in less than a week after order which I was happy about. The transmitter looked exactly like it did in the picture and I was very excited to give the machine a try. But When I got in the car and plugged it in my itouch (2g) showed up a screen that said that this machine was not compatible to charge. Since playing the music uses my ipods battery as well, the face that I couldn't charge was very unsatisfactory. It also came with the promised extra USB cable and mp3 connector. Overall the product does as promised but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it wouldn't have charged!

We initially liked this FM transmitter for our iPod as it didn't have a long cable and the iPod could mount directly in the cradle of the device. However, we plugged it in and tried multiple stations and the music from the iPod was inaudible. The car stereo even showed the signal was not clear as the stereo light kept flickering.

The other problem we had was the iPod was not held securely in place. We could not tilt the cradle back far enough (due to how the car charger was situated in our car) and the adjustable padded sides did not provide enough resistance to hold the iPod. If your charge port is not flush with the interior of your car, you might want to look for a another device as you might have the same problem.

The iPod was being charged when plugged in and the USB port (to charge other devices) was an additional nice feature, but the main purpose of listening to my iPod over the fm stereo was a failure. We had to turn it to a regular radio station before we got to the end of the street the audio was so bad. Maybe I received a bad unit, but we are returning it to look for another FM transmitter.

On the plus side, the seller (Accessory Genie) was quick in shipping this device and prompt in responding to my complaints about it.

I had an FM transmitter in the past that worked well. Someone stole it from my car. So I bought this on. This is a bad product. I have an Ipod touch 16 gb first generation. It falls out of the "holder". It does not charge the Ipod. It transmits but is full of static. I am very disappointed. It can be used only as a prop in your car. Plug it in and gaze at it. Don't even try to use it. If you are lucky, someone will steal it and they can be dissapointed too.
