However there is no way of setting it so you can use the ipod interface much easier to just plug my iPhone into the front.

Comes with a lot of unnecessary wiring too. takes up alot of room. really hard to fit between my bluetooth adapter and my cigarette lighter since that was the only place it could go.Rating: 2 / 5

I thought it would be a good idea to be able to run a wire to my glove compartment leave my old ipod video in there then who ever was in my passenger seat could change the song. I would recommend disengaing the Ipod to manipulate the library as opposed to using the JVC control. The JVC controls are easy to figure out yet difficult to use, but that "drawback" is minor compared to value and utility.Rating: 5 / 5

This adapter was really easy to install (provided that you still have the key to remove your head unit) and has excellent sound quality. VERY disappointed but at list I can listen music.Rating: 2 / 5

I bought this device expecting full controlling my IPod Video via JVC KD-HDR1 head unit but after installation got only charging and sound transfer from IPod to head unit.
