I have an 8GB iPod touch. In about a week I’ll be on a trip that will have me driving for upwards of 6 hours each way. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the iTrip, and I’m wondering if there is an effective (both literally and cost-wise) car radio adapter out there for an iPod?
Recently the face to my car radio was stolen. I have had the radio for about 8 years now and for the life of me can’t remember the make/model. I am thinking it is a Kenwood and I have searched the web looking at pics to determine the model but I am coming up empty handed probably due to the fact that the radio is so old. Any suggestion on how to figure it out from looking at the radio itself. I didn’t feel like pulling the unit out w/out knowing for sure that it would yield answers.
I am asking for how to find out the make and model…not for advice on how to replace the face or radio. I need the make and model for reporting purposes.
i just recently got a car, and i would like to replace the old crappy manufactured speakers and stereo thats in my car. I’ve heard pioneer is really good. What should i look for when i buy a stereo and speakers. I know i want loud and clear sound, as well as some good bass. Should i get a sub as well????
My car radio turns off on its own and when that happens my windows do not want to roll up nor down… So i push the button to unlock or lock my doors and sometimes the radio turns on and other times it takes a while to turn on…
Im basing my 1987 Nissan Pulsar NX on a black and green theme. I have searched around and have only found car stereo systems that light up either blue or red. Does anyone know of any brand that will light up green?
My son has a 97 900 Saab that had the alternator repaired. When he got the car back the car radio would not turn on to put the code in. Did the alternator affect that and what could we try?
I have a subwoofer and amplifier from my older car and would like to install them for my new car (Toyota Highlander). The CD stereo is the original stock, and I have already taken it out of the dashboard and checked what optional outputs it has on the back. It actually did not have a subwoofer output. When I asked car audio staff at Best Buy, he said that we can use a splitter (I am not sure if it is correct) and get the cable hooked up from the speakers on the door.
I know if I take my car to car audio shops, I can get it done fast. But I dnt want to leave my car for a few days because I need to drive it everyday. Have someone done this before ? Is there any website that instruct the installation or sell the splitter I have mentioned before ? Thank you, all!
I currently have a radio in my car that has am/fm radio and a cassette player, so i need one thats am/fm with a cd player and something that lets me connect my mp3 under 100$ please.
