I got the receiver at a great price and installed it myself, which was very easy. The receiver does everything you want it to do!

<br />I am a computer science major and am very capable with computers but struggled with the divx support for awhile. It was very hard trying to figure out how to encode video files with a mac but I have finally figured out a great way to create files that look like DVD quality on the screen and are a small file size. If you want to talk about this product, which I highly recommend, or need help converting your purchases DVDs to divx files just email me! I did my homework and for the bucks, I chose the JVC. It has everything I need with easy interface and plenty of watts. I also installed the ipod adapter, HD radio module and some after market speakers in a Toyota Yaris. THe deck was easy as it slid right in, the speakers took the better part of a morning. But it was worth the effort and don't need to install a separate amp. Plenty loud enough and with the Equalizer you can tailor the sound. THe display is too bright at night but you can dim it down and the touch screen makes everything very easy to manipulate. I put JL speakers in the back and Infinity in the front. Enjoy the JL's more as they have a more pronounced frequency response in the mid and low spectra. Yeah you can add amps and subs but It sounds 100 % better than the factory and it is a clean set-up with no wires or mess and enough for my entertainment while taking long drives.
