MP3 and WMA Playback
Don’t let your favorite music downloads languish on your computer hard drive. Burn them to a CD-R or CD-RW and play them right on the car stereo. Each disc you burn has the capacity to hold up to ten complete albums of MP3 music and twenty for WMA discs. Trust us, that’s a lot of music.
Supertuner IIID for superior FM and AM
Pioneer’s legendary Supertuner IIID combines the best of digital and analog tuner technologies to reduce distortion to bring you exceptional FM and AM performance. If you live in an area where reception is weak, you’ll hear a big improvement in signal strength. And when you’re near tall buildings, Supertuner IIID reduces the effect of multi-path noise, which occurs when the signal is reflecting off of the buildings.

MOSFET 50W x4 for the power hungry
Compared to conventional power supplies, the MOSFET amplification circuit is smaller and more efficient, delivering power with less distortion and absolutely zero on/off switching noise. Remember: more power doesn’t only mean ?louder?. It also means that your music will be cleaner at higher volumes because you’re not pushing the limits of the amplification circuit. For clean, efficient power that will rock your vehicle, you found the right CD Receiver.
Get Plugged In
Use the built-in AUX input for connecting any digital portable player and other external auxiliary devices. For extra-convenient access, the input is on the front panel.

This unit does all it should. it plays cds, the radio, and an ipod with an auxiliary cable. the buttons are very small, and you can’t read the tiny labels, which means in a way you’ll have to remember your way around the interface. at night, the backlighting is rather dim, and green. the buttons are so small, you can’t read them against a back light. they are just kinda there are a reference. the unit fit right into my ’92 accord, so that was good. also (a weird quirk for me) the random function plays repeats within a given playlist. that means on a 10 track cd, there is a chance you could hear track 2 twice before you hear track 4 on random. how do they let this stuff slip? on the other hand, if you are listening to the cd sequnetially (track 1, 2, 3 and so on) and then turn on random, it won’t automatically change songs just because you switched it on. i have seen this thoughtless feature in other cd players before.
SO- for the price it isn’t bad. it does all it should. will read mildly scratched cd’s pretty well, and burned cds are never an issue. if you will be bothered by a mediocre interface, shop around a bit. i’m pleased for what it’s worth. that’s my 2 cent.
This cd player has the same Watt outputs as all the other, but very cheap. You can change alot of settings, for a low entry product. The only downside is that the screen looks pretty plain but I think its still worth it
I was looking for a cd player with mp3 player at a good price and a good sound. I wasn’t looking for an item with usb connection since I can burn my rw discs and enjoy whatever I want.I think the audio is ideal for what I was looking for, so I think I did a very good purchase for the price I paid… no problems at all at this moment..
This receiver’s subdued look fits my older, non-flashy Volvo better than most other receivers. It sounds good through good quality speakers. FM reception is very good. The controls are fair to good. The presets buttons are easy to find and press. The main cluster of controls is not friendly to large fingers: The volume control and up and down tuning buttons are small and slippery, so it is easy to bump the source control and switch to another (tuner/CD/aux) mode. Like most receivers, most of the buttons are multi-function, and are hard to operate without taking eyes off road. Despite those complaints (shared by most receivers), I like it.
Thsi was purhased as a replacemant for a weary oem cassette player in my 2001 Tacoma. It was quite inexpensive and it does what I want it to. Iwould like better features but I didn’t want to spend more money. I am not disappointed.
