This is a top notch head unit, be warned though that the presets for XM radio does not work, so you are stuck without any presets for XM. Otherwise a great head unit.

i recently purchased this product and love it. the install was a snap with the exception of the trim plate they give you. it does not fill the gap in your DD opening. i had to buy a dash kit to go around it and fill the gap(i’m sure this varies on the vehicle). pioneer impresses me again, with crystal clear sound, loud volume, and the eq is great for tweaking your sound. the built in bluetooth is great, and you can stream music from your bluetooth phone or mp3 player to your head unit. i have the xm and hd radio attached to it and they work with no problems at all either. fantastic unit… pioneer premier is the only way to go!

I upgraded my 1991 Miata with this Pioneer stereo. Wow! What a great stereo. Besides the AM/FM/CD/Blue Tooth capabilities it also allows you hook up and play an iPod AND even plays mp3′s from a thumb drive!! The player shows the artist, album and track too! It’s a great bang for the buck!

The Pioneer FH-P800BT CD/Radio unit has exceeded my expectations. It looks impressive and was easy to install in my Camry (I went on-line and found some easy to follow instructions). The three-line, 16-character display is eye-appealing with it’s blue light output. Another impressive feature is how it plays MP3s. I can easily fit over 200 songs on a single CD and they play back flawlessly. The real reason I purchased this unit was for the built-in bluetooth feature. It was easy to pair it with my cell phone and now I send and receive calls through my sound system. When a call comes in, the CD/radio automatically mutes and I hear the call through the front speakers. The unit comes with about 25 feet of microphone cable, but I installed the mic on the steering column and coiled the rest behind the unit. People I call tell me that the sound is crystal clear, so the mic seems to be doing its job. Another feature that is built-in, but I haven’t used is the USB flash player input. It came with a USB cable and I installed it so that I could use it with an ipod at a later date.
If you are hesitant about purchasing because you don’t want to install it, ask your local Car Toys or Best Buy how much they would charge to intall (don’t forget to mention the microphone and USB cable). I saved approximately $120 through on-line purchase and another $95 by installing it myself.
