How Do I Know If A Car Stereo Will Be Compatible With My Cd Changer?
Question:
I have a stereo system in my car by pioneer. It has integrated tape, FM/AM, and 12 disc cd changer in the back. I would like to change the stereo without changing the 12 cd changer in the back. How would i be able to know which car stereo models are compatible with my 12 cd changer in the back? Is there anything else i should know about the matter?

The new radio has to have the same type of changer control. for example if you have you have a ” P BUS” CD changer “you will know if your changer is “P BUS” if it has a “P” in the model number. For example: cdx-P1280 is a “P BUS” changer and will only work with “P BUS” head units, you will know these head units because they also have a “P” in the model number for example: deh-P3000ib
good luck
