Question:
I have a 2001 Nissan Sentra SE. My car stereo needs to be replaced. How do I know what type of car stereo will work in my vehicle. I’m just looking for something simple. Any ideas how I may find out what to get.

Any cd player should work in your car. However, you’ll need to get a dash adapter to make it fit.
You can get one from Crutchfield for $15: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=112200&i=142N1495MT&tp=3121&avf=N
You’ll also need a wiring harness to be able to wire the new cd player up. This can also be found at Crutchfield for about $12: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?g=103000&i=120707550&tp=2977&avf=N
With those 2 things, any regular sized cd player will slide right in. Wire the cd player’s wiring to the wiring harness, and you’re ready to go!
any headunit would work which ever fits. you need an deck kit, thats a plastic trim that holds aftermaket decks in its place and a deck wiring harness if you dont want to cut the factory harness
