How do I use my ipod with my car radio in usb connection?
Question:
Can i scroll through my ipod and play my music that way and is there anyway in doing this? Whenever I plug my ipod in, it comes up with “connected” and won’t let me chose a song apart from scrolling through using the actual car radio.
I have a ministry of sound stereo,it has usb connection and it does play the music, its just it starts on a certain track and i have to scroll through them until I find one I like. I was just wondering if there was any way to select the song using my ipod, instead of scrolling through them with the stereo itself. Thanks

It depends on the model of the stereo. With most, even if you have a USB input, you still have to buy the adapter for your stereo. What model head unit do you have?
I have a Kenwood deck with the USB connection and with mine once you hook it up you can’t do anything with your iPod, you have to control it threw the receiver it won’t let you do anything with the iPod.
If you connect it using an AUX cord this should make you able to scroll through songs using your ipod because it wont recognize being connected through the AUX cord. If your head unit has a USB port I would guess that it would have an AUX jack, hope that helps bro
