How to get a CD out of a car stereo that is already removed from the car?

Question:
Yesterday I got my stereo installed in my car, but I left the old CD in the player that came with the car (97 Grand Am). So now I have my old stereo, not plugged into anything, sitting here in my room with my CD stuck in it. I looked for a pinhole but I can’t find one.

The unit has to be reattached to a compatable power source to eject the CD.
Hook the wiring harness into the cd player. Hook the ground and hot wires to your battery and hit the eject button.
The radio needs to be powered before it will eject the CD. Unfortunately, there’s no easy way to do this if you don’t have access to the factory plug.
Your new radio should have come with removal keys so that it can be pulled out of the dash. If you have these, you can remove the new radio, pull the factory plug out of the dash opening, and plug it into your old radio long enough to eject the CD. Afterwards, just re-connect the new radio and slide it back into the dash opening.
If you had the radio installed professionally, you can go back to the shop and ask them to get your CD out. They’ll probably have a plug that fits the GM radio and can eject the CD very quickly. They shouldn’t charge anything for this, as it was their responsibility to make sure you didn’t have a CD in your old player before they removed it.
Pop your hood and connect the yellow radio wire to the red wire on battery and the black one on the black wire on battery and radio will power up.
I agree with KaeZoo… Take the radio back to the people who installed it and tell them that you want the CD out of the radio. They should have checked it before installing the new one. In that car it should only take 2 minutes tops. Honestly, it is their fault. I have done this several times.
get the to power wires on the stereo and connect them to your car battery with your hands and don’t worry it wont shock u so don’t be scared and the stereo will turn on and u can get it out
Guys, it’s a stock radio so there isn’t any wires on it. She’d have to have access to a reverse harness.
As said before, take it back to the installer.
