Question:
Im saying like a car radio that be taken out of the dash of a car and put on like a dock in a house or office. Because i don’t really want to buy both a new car radio and the whole separate XM radio. Just one whole thing.

Go to xmradio.com and click on shop at the top of the page, then click on for the car and home.
There are a couple of things there that would work. The SkyFi for example can be used with any FM radio by just tuning to an unused FM freq and synching it with the XM radio.
There is only two types of recievers that xm sells that will be able to work in both your car and in your house. There are plug and play recievers that plug into a dock in both your house and your car. The skyfi is one of those models that work with that. If you want to get xm then you just plug the unit into your car or house dock and listen to xm. The other option is a portable unit that you can plug into a dock or you can carry it around. How they connect to your car radio is that they have a wireless fm transmitter in them. You set your radio to a certain radio frequency and pick up the signal that way. A better sounding way is to get an fm modulator that is harwired to your radio. Those two ways you wouldn’t need a new car radio you just have a seperate reciever to get your xm. There isn’t a car radio that you can take out of your car and then put into a dock in your house though.
