What could be causing my car radio to turn off and on on its own?

Question:
My car radio turns off on its own and when that happens my windows do not want to roll up nor down… So i push the button to unlock or lock my doors and sometimes the radio turns on and other times it takes a while to turn on…
I have a 1997 Pontiac Firebird V6.
What could be causing this?

Your losing voltage. My first guess would be the alternator. I would take it to advanced auto parts or wherever and let them test your alternator. It sounds like the radio is wearing down the cars voltage and that would be the reason why the windows won’t roll down. If its not low voltage then I’m not sure what it could be.
