Just installed this radio in my boat – works great and nicely powers 4 speakers (kenwood) – I highly recommand it – especially at the price
This unit sounds good but it does not allow you to control the ipod while you are listening to it. This is quite annoying. Also, the ipod cable is not removable or replaceable so if it gets messed up then you’ll have to replace the entire unit. I think some others have USB inputs. The price was good though.
Good radio, non din. Older iPod connects great, controls take a little getting use to.
I had looked around for this product at various stores and online. I read great reviews about it but it was pretty expensive. I was replacing an older jensen double din that came with the boat. This product is great and the price was unreal….only paid $199 with shipping which was at least $100 less than anywhere else. The unit is a single din so just be aware that a double din trim kit will not fit it without modifying or getting a new trim kit. This of course is no big deal as you can get those easily at your local best buy for under $30. Great product and I would highly recommend this etailer.
This unit is half the price of my old Clarion and is already more versatile with the ipod plug in.
