The unit did not work on the Sony CDX-GT310 receiver. All it does is tell me that I can “safely remove the iPod.” How for the hastle of trying to get a replacement. Maybe I should just get a refund.

I installed this Sony iPod Adapter to my Sony BT-5100 and worked for fine for the first day; however, after that the right channel speaker didn’t have any sound coming out of them. Of course I played the tuner and CD player and it played music out of both L/R channels. I’ve owned many Sony products, but I think this has been the first defective product I’ve purchased. The company told me to return it to them with a copy of the email the sent me. It seemed too good to be true for $10.00 since it’s normally $50.00. I’m content with streaming music, through Bluetooth, on my Windows Smartphone XV6800. I would not recommend this product.

I thought i would have trouble using this product cause of some of the reviews but i bought this along with my Sony Car stereo,BT5100, and it works great with this stereo. No Problems so far and its a good addition to what my stereo offers already. I Don’t have to even touch my ipod and it charges it while its plugged to the ipod adapter.

I have this item connected to the marine stereo(CDX-F50M)on my boat. Even though the box said it was not compatible with my particular Sony stereo I tried connecting it anyway and what do you know……IT WORKED!!
I do have to admit, it is a little slow when it comes to scrolling through the albums and playlists but I like it because it keeps my ipod away from the outdoor elements.
It was very reasonably priced too. Less than 8 bucks!!

I agree with all reviewers! The worse is that I’m stuck with a installed sony stereo is a super crapy ipod connection
