Thoser arent 12s they are 4 18 fi btls they arent this guys they belong to galamonkey. Rockford is shit compared to their old school stuff and FI subs are way better than rockford, alpine, pioneer, and jls. Dont get me wrong Jls are sick for sound quality but they aint got shit on FI subs.
i had that amp. it really would peak at 1200 watts. rms is constant but im sure you know that. sony isnt a high quality brand for car audio, more like entry level. they had the cheapest bang for the buck for a long time. sounded decent too. my first system was all sony, head unit, 2 tens, and amp for under 400.
since when did fosgate become ‘budget’? several years ago they were the best of the best. what the heck happened? theres no way pioneer or alpine would even touch rockford fosgates best stuff, at least not their old school stuff… im talkin about the punch series. i had a buddy who broke his windshield with fosgate subs.
you can have 2 10″ bump better then 4 12″.. it all depends on how and where its enclosed. JLs are one of the best subs for sound, quality, and bump, but remember that where it is enclosed can make all the difference. there are other good subs like alpine and pioneer, and for the budget, Rockford Fosgate.
